Vehicle left suspended from utility wires after crash near Meadow, Barrios
A single-vehicle crash Monday evening near South Meadow Avenue and Barrios Street left a vehicle suspended from utility wires after it struck a utility pole, according to the Laredo Police Department. The crash was reported by police at about 6:23 p.m. June 1. The southbound lane near Meadow Avenue and Roosevelt Street was closed because of the crash. A 58-year-old woman was transported in stable condition to Laredo Medical Center after being extricated from the vehicle by bystanders, according to the Laredo Fire Department. The crash remains under investigation.
