UTV crash in DeKalb County injures four people
DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - Four people sustained injuries following a UTV crash in rural DeKalb County. According to a press release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the 4800 block of County Road 16 on reports of a UTV crash with an unconscious 66-year-old driver. Upon investigation, DCSO determined the UTV was being operated on private property when the driver rounded a corner and lost control, rolling the UTV and coming to rest in a tree line. The driver suffered head trauma and lacerations and was unresponsive when emergency teams took them to the hospital. Three children were injured in the crash; one sustained a broken arm, and the other has a concussion. The third had bruising and minor cuts. All three were taken to a hospital for their injuries.
