Unrestrained passenger dies in crash near Bonneau
In Berkeley County, South Carolina, authorities have identified a 37-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a crash near Bonneau. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office received information about a fatal incident that occurred on Calestown Road. Coroner Darnell Hartwell confirmed the victim's identity as Maria E. Aguilar Velasquez of North Charleston in a statement released Friday morning. He noted that Velasquez, a passenger in the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was not using a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The incident is currently being investigated.
