Two SB I-5 lanes to close for about six hours after semi-truck crash spills dirt
Expect delays if planning to travel south as two southbound I-5 lanes will be closed for about six hours. The California Highway Patrol’s website said on Wednesday, July 15, at around 7:54 a.m., there was a report of a crash involving a semi-truck and a vehicle on southbound Interstate 5, north of the Upper Cross. The website said the load of dirt was spilled on the number three and four lanes. A SigAlert was issued for the number three and four lanes to be blocked for about six hours as of 9 a.m. The CHP’s website said at around 8:10 a.m., another crash was reported on southbound I-5, south of Templin Highway. The crash involved two crashes in the number three lane, before the closure. Expect delays if planning to travel in the area.
