Automatic crash alert leads Sheboygan County deputies to fatal wreck site
TOWN OF HERMAN (WLUK) -- A man died after crashing his car in a Sheboygan County corn field. Just before 12:30 a.m. Monday, dispatch received an automatic crash notification indicating a crash happened in the area of Garton Road and Bridgewood Road in the town of Herman. Preliminary investigation indicated that a Jaguar Coupe was going east on Garton Road and crashed into a corn field just east of Bridgewood Road. The driver and sole occupant, a 27-year-old man from Howards Grove, was declared deceased on scene after life-saving measures were attempted. The cause of the crash was not released.
