Driver hits utility pole, lands on top of parked car in Addison County
One person is recovering from minor injuries after an accident that sent one vehicle on top of another vehicle in Ferrisburgh. The Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash on Long Point Road around 4 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the fire department, the vehicle hit a utility pole and came to rest on top of another parked car. Officials said that person was alert and reporting minor injuries. A crew from Vergennes responded to help stabilize the vehicle and get the occupant out safely. It's not clear yet what caused the crash. The fire department said the scene was cleared and the case has been turned over to the proper authorities.
