Two motorcyclists seriously injured in Geneva crash
Geneva, N.Y. — Two motorcyclists were seriously injured in a crash in Ontario County after leading deputies on a chase that started in Yates County. The Yates County Sheriff’s Office says they conducted a traffic stop on two motorcycles on State Route 14 in Torrey, when both motorcyclists took off from deputies, leading to a chase. The chase continued into Ontario County, ending at State Route 14 at the Ontario County line in Geneva, when the motorcycles crashed into an uninvolved sedan, according to the sheriff’s office. Both motorcyclists were transported by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies say charges are pending. _________
