Two killed, including 17-year-old, in overnight crash in the Town of Volney
Two people were killed in a crash in the Town of Volney, the Oswego County Sheriff's Office announced. The sheriff's office identified the deceased as Dominick Busch, 19, and Braeyn Murray, 17, both of Fulton. The office said emergency crews responded to the crash on Howard Road between County Route 57 and County Route 176 around 2:07 a.m. on July 26. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Saab 93 was traveling westbound on Howard Road when the driver, Busch, lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree off the south side of the road. Murray was a passenger in the vehicle. Busch and Murray were pronounced dead at the scene. The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Volney Volunteer Fire Department, Menter Ambulance and the New York State Police.
