Two drivers, four children injured in Ottawa County three-car crash
Two drivers and four children were hurt in a three-car crash in Grand Haven Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office. The crash happened near the intersection of Mercury Drive and Comstock Street, about four miles southeast of Grand Haven, just before 3 p.m. Thursday. As she began turning left onto Comstock Street, her car was hit by an oncoming minivan driven by another woman, 44, of Grand Haven. That minivan was also occupied by four children, deputies said. After both cars collided, a third car occupied by another woman, 40, of Grand Haven, was hit. She had been stopped on Comstock Street and was waiting for traffic to clear, according to the sheriff's office.
