Truck driver killed in I-95 crash near Danvers-Peabody line identified
A truck driver killed earlier this week in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 near the Danvers-Peabody line has been identified by the Essex County District Attorney's Office.At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Monday, a 2018 Honda Pilot and a 2003 Peterbilt tractor-trailer collided in the northbound lanes near exit 70, which is Route 1 in Danvers. Both vehicles left the roadway. The Honda struck a road sign and the tractor-trailer rolled and struck the guardrail. Both people in the Honda declined medical attention. The tractor-trailer operator, Justin Obert, 61, of Plymouth, was declared dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
