Driver arrested for DUI, hit-and-run after 3-vehicle crash in Clovis
A driver accused of leaving the scene of a three-vehicle crash at a busy Clovis intersection was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run Friday afternoon. Officers responded to a three-vehicle collision at Alluvial and Fowler just before 1 p.m. [RELATED] Clovis checkpoint closes early due to DUI hit-and-run crash Police said one of the drivers left the scene in their vehicle but was located nearby after the driver ran off the side of the road. The driver who left the scene, identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Phelps, was arrested for suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run. No one was injured in the collision, police said.
