Tri-State motorcyclist killed in Ohio crash
GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A 71-year-old Waynesville man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Tuesday. It happened at an intersection in Greene County at about 5:45 p.m. The Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash happened on U.S. Route 42 at Roxanna New Burlington Road. A motorcycle driven by Jon T. Henderson, 71, of Waynesville, was traveling northwest on Roxanna New Burlington Road and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with U.S. 42. A car driven by a 33-year-old was traveling northeast on U.S. 42. Henderson failed to yield the right-of-way while attempting to make a left turn onto U.S. 42 southbound and was struck in the intersection. Henderson was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was treated at the scene. Henderson later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
