Tragic sledding accident in Frisco results in teen fatality and another critically injured
A tragic incident occurred in Frisco on Sunday afternoon, resulting in the death of one teenager and leaving another in critical condition following a sledding accident. Frisco police reported that a 16-year-old male was driving a Jeep, pulling the two victims on a sled near Majestic Gardens Drive and Killian Court when the sled struck a curb and collided with a tree. Emergency responders found two 16-year-old females severely injured and provided life-saving measures before transporting them to the hospital. Unfortunately, one of the victims, identified as 16-year-old Elizabeth Angle by family members and an FC Dallas soccer coach, did not survive. Frisco PD emphasized the risks of slippery surfaces due to snow and ice during winter storms, urging the community to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities.
