Tragic car crash claims life of toddler in Edinburg

Authorities in Edinburg, Texas are investigating a tragic incident in which a 1-year-old child lost their life after being hit by a vehicle in the 8300 block of E. Canton Road. The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office responded to the accident on Saturday morning and reported that a family member was involved in the incident. Sadly, the child was pronounced dead at Edinburg Children's Hospital. The investigation is currently ongoing.
