A tragic incident occurred in Sandwich, Massachusetts, where a 3-year-old child was fatally injured in a vehicle accident on Sunday. Authorities received 911 calls about a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Service Road between Quaker Meeting House and Chase roads at 3:30 p.m. Upon arriving, emergency responders found the injured child who was then taken to a nearby hospital, where they unfortunately passed away. The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene, and the matter is currently being investigated by the police. The child's identity has not been disclosed.
