Tragic accident on Highway 17 in Santa Cruz County
The California Highway Patrol is currently looking into a fatal accident that occurred on Highway 17 in Santa Cruz County, close to Vine Hill Road and roughly 5.5 miles south of Santa Clara County. They have temporarily closed the northbound side of the highway, but one lane has now been reopened. CHP advised drivers to steer clear of the area and find alternative routes.
