2 seriously injured after driver ejected from vehicle in Florence Co. crash
Two people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning, according to a release from the Florence County Fire Rescue (FCFR). At around 11:00 a.m., crews responded to the intersection of US 378 and Halfmoon Road. It was discovered that one of the drivers was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, FCFR said. Traffic was blocked as the westbound lane of the roadway remained closed throughout the afternoon while crews cleaned up the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).
