Traffic alert: I-271N express lanes closed due to crash
BEACHWOOD, Ohio (WJW) -- A crash has shut down an expressway during Friday morning's Cleveland-area work commute, the Ohio Department of Transportation confirmed. OHGO video at I-271 North and Cedar Lee shows a major slowdown in the area, as all lanes are closed on I-271 North Express just beyond the Cedar Road/Brainard Road exit. Another reported crash on I-271 North at US-322/Mayfield Road also contributed to the slowdown starting around 8 a.m. It is not yet clear what led to the crash or if anyone was injured. Drivers are advised to avoid the area at this time.
