Three-vehicle accident in Dodge County involving semi; 2 transported to hospital
A three-vehicle collision occurred in Dodge County on Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, leading to two individuals being hospitalized. The incident happened on State Highway 28 near Old Highway 28 around 5:45 a.m. in the Village of Kekoskee, according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office. Reports suggest that a passenger car and a pickup truck were heading west on State Highway 28 when the pickup truck overtook the car, lost control, and veered into the eastbound lanes, colliding with a semi-tractor trailer traveling in that direction. The pickup truck's driver, a 43-year-old man from Columbus, Wisconsin, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. The driver of the passenger car, a 30-year-old man from Mayville, was unharmed, while the semi's driver, a 37-year-old man from Mayville, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. The Dodge County Crash Investigation Team is currently probing the crash.
