Three hurt after two-car crash sends vehicle into porch on Norton Street
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Three people were taken to the hospital Monday evening after a crash at a Rochester intersection sent one vehicle into the front porch of a nearby home. Around 5:40 p.m. Monday, Rochester police were called to the area of Norton Street and Klein Street for a reported two-car collision. Investigators say a southbound vehicle on Klein Street went through a stop sign and entered the intersection, where it was struck by a westbound car traveling on Norton Street. The impact caused one of the vehicles to leave the roadway and hit the front porch of a home at on Norton Street All three people involved — including the driver of the southbound vehicle and two occupants of the westbound car, were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. Officials say all injuries appear to be non-life-threatening, with some complaints of pain and an upper-body injury reported. No one inside the home was injured. The crash remains under investigation.
