Third victim of fatal Kauaʻi helicopter crash identified

HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Three passengers killed during a fatal Kauaʻi helicopter crash in March have been identified. On April 6, officials identified 40-year-old Oksana Pihol as the crash's third fatality. The other two fatalities were identified on March 27 as Margaret Rimmler, 65, and Patrick Haskell, 59. Pihol was a Ukrainian national, and Rimmler and Haskell were both from Massachusetts, officials said. All three were passengers aboard the Airborne Aviation helicopter that crash-landed at Kalalau Beach on March 26. “Our hearts are with the families and loved ones affected by this devastating event, and we extend our deepest condolences during this incredibly difficult time,” said Isaac Croydon, safety manager of Airborne Aviation. The pilot and a fourth passenger were treated at a hospital for injuries following the incident.
