Teen killed, another injured in St. Louis County crash
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A two-vehicle crash killed one teenager and injured another Sunday night in St. Louis County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 17-year-old boy was driving with an 18-year-old woman passenger westbound on Interstate 64 near Route 141 around 9 p.m. The report states the vehicle was traveling "too fast for conditions" when the 2018 Audi S4 slid, overturned, and struck a concrete median. The car then traveled into the eastbound lanes, hitting a 2019 Jeep Compass before skidding off the right side and striking an embankment. The 18-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The 17-year-old boy was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. No injury information was listed regarding the driver of the Jeep Compass.
