Teen killed, 2 other people injured in crash in Washington County, Tennessee
A teenager was killed and two other people were injured in a crash that happened in Washington County, Tennessee, on Tuesday. According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, the crash happened at around 4 p.m. on Highway 11E near the Jonesborough Flea Market. A preliminary investigation determined that the vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male was going well above the 65 mph speed limit when the driver lost control due to weaving in and out of traffic and struck a metal utility pole. The driver was killed, according to authorities. Two passengers were taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
