Teen from Statesboro dies in car accident in Screven County.
Icy roads contributed to a fatal crash on Monday in Screven County, as reported by the Georgia State Patrol. Unfortunately, 18-year-old Kienna Wisner from Statesboro lost her life when her vehicle skidded on a patch of ice on Rocky Ford Road around 10:30 a.m. The initial investigation indicates that the icy conditions led to Wisner losing control of her 2003 Toyota RAV4, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a tree. Wisner was rushed to a nearby hospital but, sadly, succumbed to her injuries.
