Teen from McLean County dies from car accident injuries
A tragic incident occurred in Bloomington, Illinois, as an 18-year-old teenager from Carlock passed away more than two weeks after being struck by a vehicle. The McLean County Coroner, Kathleen Yoder, reported that Dylan Burroughs succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning. The preliminary autopsy findings pointed to head trauma resulting from being hit by a car. Further toxicology tests are yet to be conducted. The tragic event took place on July 7 near Carlock, and the McLean County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision in collaboration with the coroner's office.
