Teen dead, another seriously hurt following minibike crash in Gloucester County
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY)-- A teen is dead and another is seriously hurt following a crash involving a minibike in Gloucester County Monday night. According to Virginia State Police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Ambrose Road and Michael Lane around 10 p.m. After investigating, it was revealed the minibike ran off the road and struck a mailbox. The passenger of the minibike, a 14-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 16-year-old juvenile, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.
