SUN: 2 Marylanders killed in wrong-way crash on I-83 in Pennsylvania
Two Maryland residents were killed Thursday night in a wrong-way crash involving four vehicles on Interstate 83 in York County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Investigators said Deborah Williams, 75, of Middle River, entered I-83 near Exit 10 in Springfield Township around 10 p.m. and began driving north in the southbound lanes in a 2019 Honda CR-V. Williams and a male passenger, who was also from Middle River, died in the crash, police said. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the passenger. Troopers said Williams’ SUV collided head-on with a southbound 2018 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Crystal J. Pasquale, 41, of Manchester. The impact caused the Suburban to overturn onto its passenger side while Williams’ vehicle spun into nearby traffic. Read the full story on The Baltimore Sun's website.
