Stolen car crashes into Auburn CVS, suspect flees
(FOX40.COM) — A stolen car crashed into an Auburn CVS Thursday morning and the suspect is at large, according to authorities. The crash was reported around 4:30 a.m. on 2136 Grass Valley Highway. Law enforcement confirmed with a FOX40 crew on scene that the car was stolen from an auto dealership while it was being repaired. Authorities said the driver went through an entrance, made a U-turn in the store, then attempted to drive out through another door but failed. According to authorities, the suspect attempted to burglarize the CVS, but deputies confirm nothing was stolen. Surveillance footage showed the suspect exiting the car before getting in another car and driving off. Multiple law agencies are in the area investigating.
