State Sen. Faith Winter found to be driving drunk, responsible for deadly accident

Following a thorough investigation into the tragic accident that resulted in the passing of the late Faith Winter, a former Colorado state senator, authorities have concluded that she was responsible for the collision. The incident occurred on November 26 when Winter was driving north on Interstate 25 near the East Dry Creek Road exit in Arapahoe County, where she was involved in the second of two crashes that evening. Winter and three others sustained injuries in the collisions, and Winter tragically succumbed to her injuries. A respected figure in the community, Winter was in her final year serving as a state lawmaker, and a heartfelt farewell ceremony was held by loved ones on the steps of the Colorado State Capitol Building. As investigations continued, authorities recently revealed that the initial crash involved three vehicles, and the subsequent collision occurred when Winter's vehicle struck the rear end of a truck lacking visible taillights. Despite the truck not having proper lighting, investigators determined that Winter was at fault for the crash. Additionally, toxicology reports indicated that Winter had a blood alcohol level of 0.185% at the time of the accident, which exceeds the legal limit for driving in Colorado.
