SR 18 near Issaquah closed both ways after semi-truck crash
A fatal collision involving a semi-truck and another car shut down both directions of State Route 18 near Snoqualmie on Wednesday, according to transportation and fire officials. The crash occurred on eastbound and westbound SR 18 just east of Issaquah-Hobart Road, near milepost 22, blocking all lanes, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). Eastside Fire & Rescue said crews were responding to a rescue collision involving a semi-truck and a vehicle near milepost 21. Both directions of the highway were closed while emergency crews treated a single patient, who Washington State Patrol (WSP) later confirmed dead.
