Southbound I-35 reopened after multi-vehicle crash causes delays
AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Travis County Sheriff's Office said it responded to a multi-vehicle collision Wednesday morning. TCSO said the collision was near the 16400 block of North Interstate 35 heading south, just south of the State Highway 45 toll. First responders said to expect delays in the area. KXAN Traffic Anchor Erica Brennes said maps showed only one lane was open near Greenlawn Boulevard. As of 7:16 a.m., the drive time from Georgetown was at least an hour and 15 minutes. By 8:15 a.m., TCSO said roadways have reopened.
