SKY 5 LIVE: Rollover crash causing significant traffic backup on northbound I-35 in Edmond
An injury rollover crash involving two vehicles caused a major traffic slowdown in the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Edmond. >> Check out traffic conditions across Oklahoma here.The crash happened on northbound I-35 near Covell Road. Sky 5, which is the only news helicopter in the air on weekday mornings, showed badly damaged white pickup truck on its side in a grassy area off the highway. Sky 5 Pilot Chase Rutledge said a second vehicle was involved as the pickup truck appeared to have crashed into the back of a lawn crew's vehicle. They didn't know how many people were injured. Northbound I-35 is down to one lane while law enforcement investigates and crews work to clear the scene. The backup extends to Second Street.
