Single fatality, one person wounded in Adams County collision

A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Adams County on Friday night, as reported by State Police in Gettysburg. The incident took place around 11:47 p.m. when a Honda CRV attempted to overtake another vehicle on Basehoar School Road in Union Township by entering the opposite lane where it collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. Sadly, the driver of the Honda CRV, 31-year-old Daniel Miller from Littlestown, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor head and chest injuries and was taken to York Hospital for treatment. Their current condition remains unknown.
