Singer-songwriter dies in Colombia plane crash before concert
Colombian artist Yeison Jiménez, along with five others, tragically lost their lives in a plane crash while en route to a performance in Medellín. The crash occurred between Paipa and Duitama, approximately 100 miles northeast of Bogotá. Among the victims were members of Jiménez's team and the pilot. Authorities are still investigating the crash, with no cause determined as of now. Jiménez, known for his success in the Colombian música popular genre, leaves behind a legacy that his representatives promise to honor with upcoming tributes. He is survived by his wife and three children.
