Shreveport man dies in fatal crash on way home
Early Friday morning, a tragic single-car crash claimed the life of Tremaine Jones, 33, in Shreveport. The Caddo Parish Coroner confirmed that the incident occurred on I-20 when Jones, driving a blue Chevrolet Blazer, exited westbound onto Linwood Avenue and Pierre Avenue. The vehicle collided with an overpass column and overturned. The Shreveport Fire Department pronounced Jones dead at the scene. Authorities mentioned that Jones was returning home from a nearby casino when the accident occurred, marking the fourth fatal traffic incident in Shreveport this year.
