Sheriff: 58-year-old woman dies after being hit by car in Liberty Township
A woman died after being hit by a car in Liberty Township on Thursday evening.According to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. in the 4600 block of Millikin Road.The sheriff said a 2018 Ford Escape was heading eastbound on Millikin Road when the car hit a 58-year-old woman in the road.The Liberty Township Fire Department responded and said the pedestrian died from her injuries at the scene of the crash.Investigators haven’t given more information on what led to the crash. The Butler County Sheriff's Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
