Serious injuries reported after crash in Greensboro; southbound lanes of US 29 closed south of I-840 to McKnight Mill Road, police say
GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- Two people were hurt in a Greensboro crash on Monday afternoon, according to EMS. All southbound lanes of US 29 were closed south of Interstate-840 to McKnight Mill Road. Traffic was being diverted onto I-840. EMS was called around 1:51 p.m. Officials responded and treated one person for serious injuries and one person for moderate injuries. The Greensboro Fire Department says two cars were involved in the crash. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. This is a developing story.
