Santa Fe PD investigating early morning fatal crash
Santa Fe police are currently investigating a fatal crash that took place early Sunday morning.According to police, the crash occurred near the intersection of Agua Fria Street and Arroyo de Las Cruces Road Sunday morning. At approximately 1:47 a.m., officers from Patrol Team C responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Officers and Santa Fe Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene.The vehicle driver reported no injuries and remained on scene. The motorcycle driver was found with no signs of life and was beyond medical intervention.Crash investigators from the Traffic Unit and the Crime Scene Unit were summoned to the scene to conduct an investigation and process the scene for evidence.Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information related to the investigation is asked to please call 505-955-5205.This case remains under investigation and will be updated as more information becomes available.
