Salem crash involving school bus and SUV leaves 2 people injured
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were hurt after a crash involving a school bus and an SUV just outside Salem. The Salem Police Department said crews responded to the scene at Highway 22 and Highway 51 just before 9:50 a.m. Officials said 32 people were on the school bus. Two people were taken to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. The school district dispatched a second bus to pick up the remaining passengers. Oregon State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
