VIDEO: Skydiver crash lands at California rodeo, walks away unharmed

Heart-stopping footage shows the moment a skydiver crash landed at a rodeo in Northern California, but he was able to walk away uninjured. It took place during the Folsom Pro Rodeo this past Thursday evening. Folsom is located about 23 miles northeast of Sacramento. The skydiver, identified by KTLA sister station Fox40 Sacramento as Ross Vail, was doing a stunt with a large American flag when the flag appeared to snag on a tree, causing him to faceplant at a 90-degree angle into a tent, according to video taken by a witness. Further footage exclusively obtained by Fox40 shows Vail walking away uninjured onto a stage to a round of applause.   Folsom Pro Rodeo released a statement to the outlet that confirmed Vail was uninjured and would be attempting another stunt on Friday. Rodeo organizers have posted a video on Instagram of Vail's second jump, where thankfully, he landed safely. "We shared that Ross was safe and would be back in the air tonight. He kept that promise and delivered a perfect landing to kick off another incredible night at the Folsom Pro Rodeo," the post reads. The last night of the Folsom Pro Rodeo is Saturday.
