Rollover crash near San Francisco General takes out tree, disrupts traffic and Muni service
A rollover crash in San Francisco’s Mission District left a tree in the roadway and disrupted traffic and Muni service late Monday morning near Zuckerberg General Hospital. Emergency crews were dispatched to Potrero Avenue and 23rd Street for a vehicle accident with injuries shortly after 11:21 a.m., authorities said. Officers found two people involved in the crash and paramedics treated them at the scene for injuries, according to the San Francisco Police Department. A tree was knocked into the roadway as a result of the collision, police said. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency said inbound 9, 9R and 33 buses were being rerouted via 24th Street, Bryant Street, 22nd Street and Potrero Avenue. Authorities did not immediately release additional details.
