Rider thrown from Harley in deadly Canton crash
[Editor's Note: The video above is about how 911 was developed.] CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — A man was killed early Friday, June 12, after losing control of a motorcycle and striking a guardrail in Canton, police said. Canton police responded about 1 a.m. to the 900 block of Cleveland Avenue Northwest. According to a news release, a man on a Harley Davidson was headed northbound on Cleveland when he lost control of the motorcycle on a curve. The rider was thrown from the bike, police said. Medics from the Canton Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene. The man has not been identified. The Canton Metro Crash Team is investigating the incident.
