Nadia spent several weeks in the hospital, while their two-year-old son, Sunny, required numerous stitches on his face and head. The terms of the settlement remain confidential, and St. David’s has refuted any claims of negligence according to recent court documents. The details of the agreement were confirmed by the family's attorney, Sean Breen, although he declined to provide further information. Despite an unsuccessful attempt to extend this regulation statewide during the previous legislative session, attention is still being drawn to enhance safety measures at medical facilities.
