PPD investigating fatal crash on southeast side
(PUEBLO, Colo.) — According to PPD, as of 6:15 p.m., the intersection of Northern Avenue and Santa Fe Drive has reopened. The Pueblo Police Department (PPD) is asking travelers to avoid a busy intersection on Pueblo's southeast side after a deadly crash on Tuesday evening, March 3. According to PPD, officers were on the scene of a crash around 5 p.m. at the intersection of East Northern Avenue and Santa Fe Drive. PPD confirmed the crash was fatal. PPD said both Northern Avenue and Santa Fe Drive are closed at the intersection, and there is no access to Pueblo County from Northern Avenue. Alternate routes are encouraged.
