Portion of main road reopens in Somers after car crashes into pole

SOMERS, Conn. (WTNH) — A portion of Hazard Avenue (Route 190) has reopened after a car crashed into a pole Friday morning over the Enfield town line, according to police. According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, Hazard Avenue was closed between Katie Lane and Maple Street for about an hour before the roadway reopened.
