Police searching for vehicle in fatal North Haven crash
NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle that occurred last month in North Haven. On March 27, crews responded to the 120 block of Washington Avenue for a serious crash involving a motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle, 70-year-old Gregg Smith, of North Haven, was transported to the hospital in critical condition, according to police. He later died, according to police. North Haven police announced Monday that the fatal crash remains under investigation. Following a canvass of the area, police obtained video showing a vehicle that may have contributed to the crash. The license plate, driver identity and other identifying information for the vehicle are unknown, according to police.
