Police respond to accident on 7th and Springhill Drive
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police in Terre Haute responded to an accident at the intersection of Springhill Drive and 7th Street Wednesday afternoon. According to Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames, the vehicle collided in the intersection after a vehicle traveling east on Springhill collided with a vehicle attempting to turn onto 7th. Sgt. Ames said one of the vehicles rolled onto its top, and the passengers had to be extracted from the vehicle. The passengers only sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Indiana State Police, the Vigo County Sheriff's Office and the Honey Creek Fire Department responded to the accident.
