Police: Motorcyclist dead after SW Roanoke crash
ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) - A fatal crash in SW Roanoke resulted in the death of one motorcycle operator, according to the Roanoke County Police Department. At about 7:35 p.m. on June 19, 64-year-old Barbara Ann Callahan was driving a Honda SUV in the 3600 block of Colonial Avenue SW when police say she struck a motorcycle. Authorities identified the motorcyclist as Bishop Keanu Jackson, 28. Jackson was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he died of his injuries. Police arrested Callahan and charged her with DUI and refusal. Additional charges are pending further investigation. Stay with WFXR for updates.
