Police investigate early morning fatal crash
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – One person has died early Saturday morning after a vehicle crash in the Northland. Officers with the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) responded about 12:45 a.m. to the area of North Oak and NE 103rd on a reported fatal crash. Officers found a silver Buick was rear-ended at a high rate of speed by the driver of a white pickup truck on N. Oak around NE 103rd St. The driver of the silver Buick died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was arrested for suspicion of DUI. This crash is the 11th fatal crash in Kansas City this year.
