Police believe impairment may have caused fatal wrong-way crash in Laurel.

Maryland State Police reported that a Toyota Sequoia was traveling in the wrong direction on I-95, near Route 216, when it struck a Chrysler Pacifica carrying four occupants. The driver and front passenger of the Chrysler were fatally injured, while two others were taken to the hospital for treatment, with one needing to be airlifted due to their condition.
